The arrival

So, we arrived at Kansas City International Airport, got our luggage (eventually) and headed outside for Clare to come and pick us up.

The drive from KC to Slater (the boyhood home of Steve McQueen) was eventful.

Upon arrival at the house we were greeted by 'Rena who is a good friend of Clare's and Leroy, the dog.

We had Pizza from the Local Store ("Large" and very big by Aussie standards) and then went to bed.
